Debbie McEwan reveals a new poem...
I collaborated with the talented poet and lyricist, Debbie McEwan to write a whole range of songs. Although Debbie didn´t work exclusively with me, we appeared together in the Sixth Sense newspaper and entered the 2006 UK Songwriting Contest, achieving a ranking at semi-final level, placing the entry in the top 20 per cent. Our songs vary in subject and style and cover everything from alien abduction to reflections on and celebrations of life incorporating slow ballads and dance tracks.

Tribute Acts
I´m always looking for new ways to spice up the musical existence and one of the most recent additions to my act is a tribute act entitled "Rock It Man" - the Elton John Tribute. I love singing Elton songs and there´s such a huge variety to choose from that an act like this can be right for absolutely any occasion. The mood goes from mellow and reflective with the timeless "Your Song" up to downright raucous with "Crocodile Rock" or "Saturday Night´s All Right". And then you´ve got "Are You Ready For Love" and "Nikitta" somewhere in the middle. Although I don´t currently perform a Phil Collins tribute act I have been told that I have more than a passing resemblance to the great man in both looks and sound. See what you think...

Gospel Singing
Noel James
I have also performed with Noel James and together we were...
We performed Gospel Music as a duo for confirmations, weddings and private ceremonies and functions. Noel previously sang with the Gospel Choir 'The Living Sound' and now sings solo. The repertoire for this duo comprised religious and celebrational music such as "Oh Happy Day!", "Open Up My Heart" and "Amazing Grace". Given Noel's experience of Gospel Singing and my experience of function and party music, we provided a perfect backdrop to any special occasion.

Song for Afghanistan
In addition to other projects I was asked to write a song for the Afghan Appeal Fund, based in Rheindahlen, Germany. 'Every Step of the Way' was first performed for General Sir Mike Jackson in the ARRC Welfare Centre at Rheindahlen, Germany on 12 June 2006 and to HRH Princess Anne during an official visit on 19th September 2006. The song was also included in a 50th Anniversary Service Children's Education concert on 12th December 2006 in the Kaiser Friedrichs Halle in Moenchengladbach and was broadcast on television and radio. This new version of the song has been arranged by Frank Gillett (Head of the Rheindahlen Music Centre) for wind band and school choir and was performed by children from SCE schools in Germany. It took the form of a number of children singing the verses as solos and a larger choir singing the chorus. The overall effect was stunning and the performance was generally well received in a concert that included many memorable performances by the children, directed by Dave Reeves (Curriculum Development Teacher for SCE Germany).
